Easter has really snuck up on us this year and I am going to join in and repeat what everyone is saying “I can’t believe that Easter is here already”. Maybe this has happened because Easter is in fact, earlier than we have been used to, or maybe it is because we are all so busy that it takes a public holiday to make us stop. In theory, you get a four day break, which will give you plenty of time to stop, clear your head and think. At clear decisions we have compiled a list of favourite ideas and topics for you to ponder over the Easter break.
Change is not an event, it is a process – Change does not happen overnight. And if it does it probably won’t be the type of change that sticks around. Any change worth happening will require planning, consultation and research before you even embark on the journey. So sit back and ponder what changes are happening in your business and how you can make them even more successful.
Change is inevitable, Change for the better is a full-time job – We all know it, change happens whether we like it or not. We also know that change for the sake of change is not productive or welcomed. What we aim for, is change for the better. But as the saying goes, this takes work, and a lot of it. But if some hard work produces an outcome that is amazing, doesn’t that make it all worthwhile?
To the optimist the glass is half-full, to the pessimist the glass is half empty, to the project manager the glass is twice as big as it needs to be – It is no secret, what makes a project successful is providing a product or service that delivers what it is meant to. Spend your time and effort wisely. Find out what it is that the project is meant to deliver, what does your client or stakeholder want? And quite simply seek to give them what they want.

Mother Teresa’s quote is a wonderful reminder of the importance of teamwork, but also accepting that we should look for the strengths in ourselves and others. If we are truly honest and look for the strengths in everyone we will definitely achieve greatness.
